LEM is hosting small Pastor retreats this fall. We have openings st two “ Pastors Place” retreats.

1. Bemidji MN area Pastor’s Place, Oct 12-13. Meeting at a local hotel TBA. Sunday 6 PM through Monday 1 PM. Wives welcome. Speakers : Vern Baardson (Fargo), Jim Johnson (Mora), Joel Kangas (Beltrami), Dean Hedlund (Roseau). Registration, free. To register, call Jim Johnson,

2. Rochester MN area Pastor’s Place, Oct 26-27. Meeting at StayBridge downtown. Sunday 6 PM through Monday 1 PM. LEM evangelist Vern Baardson is available for preaching and music ministry. His wife Casey is a gifted speaker and disciple maker and is open to speaking at women’s retreats, conferences and workshops.

Other LEM speakers include Shawn Bowman, Eric Westlake, Tom Parrish, Nate Jore, Dan Giles, Michael Brandt and Jim Johnson, Kirk Militzer, are available for service in your church ministry. 

Jim Rasmussen specializes in training disciple makers. Joel Kangas and Dean Hedlund are open for church prayer gatherings and worship nights.

The LEM's Revival History in Book and on Video

LEM historian Jonathan Anderson’s book, Our Fathers Saw His Mighty Works: The Lutheran Evangelistic Movement and a Forgotten Mid-20th Century Revival, was well-received following its release in July 2013. Sixteen chapters tell the story of the LEM’s origins, growth, and widespread use by God during its first two decades (1937-1957) and its significant role in a national revival. There are also three appendices, the third of which covers the LEM of the 1960’s and ‘70’s and the youth revival movement of those years.
